BJP Chief Amit Shah hits hard; accuses NC, PDP of perpetuating dynastic rule
Taking the battle to both the NC, and PDP the BJP chief Amit Shah today made a strong statement when he blamed political dynasties which control the two parties of breeding corruption, backwardness, and poor governance. Giving a clarion call to the people of the state, while campaigning in Banihal constituency, Shah exhorted people to teach these political families, and their parties a lesson.
Mincing no words, the BJP chief accused the Abdullahs and Muftis of keeping the state under-developed, and backward with only objective perpetuating their hegemony. He also said that it was under their leadership that J&K achieved the dubious distinction of becoming the second most corrupt state in the country. Shah alleged that after the independence these two families have ruled the state, and brought it to ruin. The people however are now demanding answers and accountability, and will teach them a lesson in the ensuing polls, he said while addressing a public rally in Banihal.
“Abdullahs and Muftis, along with Congress, have destroyed J&K. They exploited it for their own gains”, he asserted. Promising the people good governance, the BJP chief said that if his party comes to power in the state then it will end corruption, and dynastic rule which has become a hallmark of the state politics. He also said that it was afer a long time that people had voted the BJP to power with full majority, and trusted Modi who will deliver the goods in the country.
In Jammu and Kashmir like other parts of the country the people want change, and this is necessary because the politicians in J&K have become used to take people for granted. Shah also said that voting for BJP will mean heralding a new era in the strife torn state.
