BJP remembers Bhagwan Valmiki
On the auspicious occasion of Prakash Utsav of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji, BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha under its State President Surinder Bhagat organized a programme at party headquarters on Wednesday.
BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, who was the chief guest on the occasion, lit the lamp and also laid flowers at the portrait of Bhagwan Valmiki ji, alongwith other senior leaders of the party and morcha.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while speaking on the life of this noble soul, said that Bhagwan Valmiki was a saint of super intelligence and fore sightedness and due to these qualities he wrote the holy Ramayan hundreds of years earlier than the birth of Lord Rama and the following developments. He said that just remembering the great saints like Valmiki ji on one day in a year is not enough and each one of us should remember them every second and adopt their principles and teachings in our lives.
Surinder Bhagat said that the programme on this day is being organized with a motive to educate the young generation about the lives of some great saints of India and also to take pledge to work on the line being preached by such saints.
Col. Uttam Singh, Ashok Kaul, Chander Mohan Sharma, Kavinder Gupta, Bali Bhagat, Bansi Lal Bharti, N.D. Rajwal, Yudhvir Sethi, Mohan Singh Chauhan, Brig. Anil Gupta, Balbir Ram Rattan, Dr. Nirmal Kamal, Subash Gupta, Vijay Choudhary, Rashpal Singh, P.C. Sangra, Puran Chand Bhagat, Hardesh Kumar, Bhanu Singh Jasrotia, Raj Kumar, B.D. Naryal, Chuni Lal, Kartar Chand, Suban Ganjoo, Ramesh Lal, Kushal Chand, Moti Ram, and others also paid their respects to Valmikiji.
During the programme, satsang was also organized by Ajit Gill, Sat Pal Gill, Bharat Hans, Akash Bhatti, Pupali Hans, Muskan Gill, Varaha Gill, Nitisha Cheeta, Chetna Solna, Simran Hans and Ankush Gill, which focused on the life of Valmiki ji and his message to the people to be good human beings and live as brothers.
