Jammu Mar 10:  ‘Terribly shaken by its humiliating defeats and lost grounds in various states, Congress now is trying to vitiate peaceful atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir State to gain a foothold. It’s because of wrong policies of successive Congress regimes that country witnessed rigging in polls, corruption in governance, communal hatred in states, division in votes and freebies while squeezing taxpayers. It was these wrong policies that the party is on its last leg now’.

This was stated by Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Vice President Yudhvir Sethi while addressing an impressive gathering at Jewel Chowk today. Asking people including party workers to assemble in large numbers in Dussehra ground, Gandhi Nagar on March 11 next wherein party’s three years of achievements in Jammu and Kashmir will be highlighted, he said the programme is going to be a befitting reply to ‘politics of hatred’ unleashed by Congress.

Yudhvir Sethi said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured that central government as well BJP ruled states come up to expectations of masses and work in most transparent manner. Giving people credible and an accountable government was on top agenda of Prime Minister and various state as well as centrally sponsored schemes and their correct implementations is what’s making BJP and its allies sail smoothly.

Yudhvir Sethi said coalition government is working for equitable development of all three regions of Jammu and Kashmir State and blacktopping of roads, establishment of IIT and IIM besides AIIMS, cable car in Jammu, tourism development authorities in Srinagar, tunnelling projects for Ladakh to give the region an all-weather access and other major financial packages are all making J&K a progressive state. Shaken by development works and transparency, the opposition is now making futile attempts to mislead people now. Asking people to not to fall a prey to divisive politics.
