At least six civilians were injured after unknown persons hurled a grenade on forces vehicle in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police officer told a local news gathering agency that suspected militants lobbed a grenade on forces’ Gypsy which missed the intended target and exploded on road side.
In the blast six persons including a woman sustained splinter injuries.
All the injured have been hospitalised, the officer said.
He said that a case has been registered and further investigations have been taken up. (GNS)
