BSF bunker torched by protesters after absentia prayers

Srinagar, July 9: Angry youths on Saturday set on fire a bunker of Border Security Force (BSF) in north Kashmir’s Bandipora after offering funeral prayers in absentia for slain militant commander Burhan Wani.

Thousands of people, mostly youths, participated in absentia prayers for Burhan who died in a gunfight with forces last evening in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
