BSNL, which has been one of the oldest players, has also been trying to ramp up excitement for its services with special plans and more freebies. The operator even started focusing on its Bharat Fiber services to woo more customers into buying it and as part of the process, the operator has now come up with a special plan for Bharat Fiber subscribers.

In a bid to outdo Reliance JioFiber, BSNL has come up with a limited edition plan that offers higher data limits with higher speeds. The BSNL plan will only be available for users until April 6, 2020 and it comes with monthly charges as well as a security deposit. The plan will cost you Rs 1,999 per month and users will have to pay the same amount as a security deposit before subscribing to this plan. Since it’s a promotional plan, the benefits of this plan will be limited to a few months only.

However, if you have been willing to upgrade to a fiber service broadband network, this plan is a great step to do that. For Rs 1,999 per month, BSNL is offering a total data allotment of 1.5TB and once the data limit is reached, the speeds will be capped. Until the data limit is reached, users will get speeds of up to 200Mbps but once the limit expires, speeds will go down to 2Mbps. BSNL hasn’t stated any top-up packs to get back the speed if the limit is reached.

Sadly, there’s no other offer bundled with this plan. BSNL is not giving any subscription to third-party services or even free Talktime over the landline. Moreover, the plan is only available for those subscribers based in Telangana and Chennai circles for now. Hence, users in other circles aren’t eligible to get the plan as of now.
