A seven-year-old boy was found dead inside the washroom of the Gurgaon-based Ryan International School Friday morning. The Class II boy’s body was discovered by fellow school students at around 8 am – the child was found with his throat slit and a knife near his body.
Late Friday night, Gurgaon Police said that they arrested a bus conductor, identified as Ashok Kumar, employed by Ryan International School. Police officials said that the killer attempted to sexually abuse the boy before murdering him.
Ashok, the conductor, confessed to murdering the child. Ashok said that he killed the boy after the 7-year-old resisted his attempts to sexually abuse him.
According to the police, Ashok had gone to the washroom to wash his knife. There, the bus conductor saw the 7-year-old and attempted to sexually abuse him. However, the child started screaming, following which Ashok killed him.
