Caught on Cam: Terrorists bid to loot bank foiled, CCTV Footage made public

Srinagar: Unidentified youth on Monday tried to snatch a rifle from a bank guard at Charar-e-Sarief in Budgam district, reports said.
However, the alert guard of Jammu and Kashmir Bank, branch Chrar-e-Sharief resisted and foiled the attempt, sources said.
Soon after the incident, army and SOG launched an operation to nab the attackers.

Police has foiled a weapon snatching attempt when three unknown persons  tried to snatch a weapon from Bank guard in Chrar-i-Sharief area of Budgam district this afternoon.

Three persons attempted to snatch a rifle from a J&K Bank guard in Chrar-i-Sharief area of Budgam district today afternoon. The policeman deployed at the guard foiled their attempt. The trio managed to escape from the spot but were caught in a CCTV footage. A case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up.

Anyone who will help the Police in identification of the perpetrators will be suitably rewarded and his identity will not be revealed.
