Jammu, July 19: Centre for Social Responsibility & Leadership (CSRL) in association with Indian Army’s Delta Force has launched Chenab Super 30 programme to provide 11 month free residential coaching for clearing the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) to the talented youth of three districts of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban.
On June 1, around 1173 students had appeared for three hours long grueling Entrance Exam organized by the Army at 14 Centers in the three districts of Doda, Kishtwar & Ramban to select the potential IITians.
90 selected students appeared for interviews before a Panel from CSRL, New Delhi on 15 and 16 June wherein 30 students were finally selected by the Panel for imparting free residential coaching at Jammu.
The selected 30 students today interacted with Lt Gen KH Singh, General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps who exhorted all students to make the best of this opportunity by dedicating themselves in preparing for cracking the tough IIT Entrance Exam. He thanked CSRL for taking the noble initiative of empowering the youth of the region.
DGP Bihar Abhyananad and mentor of Super 30 programme was also present during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, CSRL Director SK Shahi thanked GOC for providing assistance in selecting top 30 students for the free residential coaching programme. He also highlighted that the selected youth will be provided with intensive 11 months coaching at Jammu to ensure that they are able to compete with the best.
