Chief Minister’s Gold Medal For Honesty, Integrity And Meritorious Public Service – Nominations For The Year 2017
Srinagar, June 13: Govt. has issued an circular for Chief Minister’s Gold Medal for Honesty, Integrity and Meritorious Public Service – nominations for the year 2017 vide Circular No. 27-GAD of 2017 Dated: 13.06.2017, which reads as:-
The scheme for granting the Chief Minister’s Gold Medal for Honesty, Integrity and Meritorious Public Service has been instituted, vide
Government Order No. 860-GAD of 2006 dated 12.07.2006 read with Government Order Nos. 1170-GAD of 2009 dated 28.08.2009, 1300-GAD of 2012 dated 10.12.2012, and 550-GAD of 2016, dated 25.05.2016.
A need was felt to make the process of recommendations broad based, and accordingly the scheme has been partially modified, vide Government Order No. 550-GAD of 2016 dated 25.05.2016.
The awards under the scheme are announced annually on the eve of Independence Day, after scrutiny of the nominations received from the
@ concerned quarters. It is, therefore, enjoined upon all the Administrative Secretaries to constitute a committee in their respective departments for the purpose of making suitable nominations for the Chief Minister’s Gold Medal for Honesty, Integrity and Meritorious Public Service, as per the laid down norms specified in terms of the above referred Government Orders. The nominations should reach this department by or before sth July, 2017. Besides, nominations are also invited from the agenciesforganizations, other than Government departments, alongwith the following details of the nominated Government ernployee(s) within the aforementioned stipulated time:
a) Bio-data inter-alia containing all the details including contact number@), e-mail address, etc.
b) Summary of the achievements. The departmental nominations should be accompanied by the bio- data (duly authenticated) and other documents prescribed for the purpose.
