Vice-Chancellor Jammu University Should be Dismissed: ABVP
16/11/2016: Varsha jandial, State Secretary, ABVP, while addressing a press conference asserts that when the whole country is contributing to the nation in different aspects and also boosting up the moral of security forces who are continuously fighting for the nation, it is a matter of great concern as well as shame also that JU VC had questioned the integrity of our national security forces.
Further continuing she said that we all know that every year when secretariat moves to Kashmir , situation somewhere becomes disturbing as it is in the nature of separatists and this time coincidentally the encounter of Burhan Wani took place at the same time and they took this issue to exploit the life of the common people especially students. Burhan Wani could never be the icon of any person as he was purely a destructing element and well demanded terrorist of the time. He had exploited the life of the bulk of youths by letting them follow the path of terrorism which ultimately leads to innocent killings. Icons are purely different. They construct the nation; not destruct.
Varsha further asserted that being on an official position, JU VC was not expected to do so. He was actually a direction provider and an icon for the students. But stating so that “Burhan should not be killed…” I felt that none of the students should follow him now and he also could nowhere be the icon of any student. Now the students are not accepting his antinational approach and he have no right to be on his official chair.
It has now become more sensitive when VC claimed it as a personal view. Having such type of approach could be a great danger for all and the way Chancellor had not said a single word on the issue depicts something unexpected. This is dangerous for peace and stability of the sensitive state like Jammu-Kashmir. The persons having such a mind-set can turn an educational institution into a hub of terrorists. She futher said that “ ABVP clearly demands dismissal of VC and ensured that if it does not happen then ABVP will take it as an awareness compaign further putting a pressure on the goverment as well as chancellor as we dont accept people with separatistic approach in our institution.
Ganesh kunde, ABVP state Joint secretary, finally demands his dismissal saying that he could be a great loss to the nation in many aspects. If Govt. should not do so, it would be considered that they also indirectly supporting the same approach. Jammu Mahanagar Joint Secretary G.M Ali was also present in the press conference.

PM Modi’s dedication is incontestable: BJP
It is indeed very unfortunate that today even after 69 years of independence, the Congress party still has the mindset that for being leader in our country and for being pure nationalist, one should belong to royal families living in palaces only.
Reacting strongly to the statement of Kapil Sibbal, Senior leader of Congress, over electronic media that palaces are the criteria for anybody to prove his/her credentials to be true Indian and Nationalist, BJP State Spokesperson, Arun Kumar Gupta, said that BJP would like to know from Congress as to how many politicians from Congress left their palaces to serve the Nation and how many of them have built palaces after joining the politics. Congress is still having the mindset of the times of princes and princely states, which have ceased to be there, after India became Independent in 1947.
For serving the nation in true sense, one has to first dedicate himself or herself for the sake of country and nothing can be more valuable than one’s dedication to work for the country above own self. “Since Congress has, for the years, not done anything for the country and would only look into their self elevation, they probably would not understand or appreciate that leaving a palace or other comforts are not required if you are born in India and are concerned for the nation” said, Arun Kumar Gupta.

Their kind of irresponsible and unparliamentarily statements against the Prime Minister of the country, who is totally dedicated for national cause, are uncalled for and do expose the basic mindset of any one whose agenda is only to criticizes. Indians today have feeling that during all these years after Independence, non seriousness has created so many menaces in the system and country, the anti national elements and organizations have became more strong than the nationalists and economy is subservient to their dictation. All developed nations have been built themselves by pure dedicated leadership and that is how the systems, economy and love for the countries, have built. BJP today is working so hard, it should be appreciated rather than criticizing on irrelevant issues. said Arun Kumar Gupta.
