CJM directs SHO Kishtwar to register FIR against BJP leader’s PSO

Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar Bashir Ahmed Munshi today directed Station House Police Officer Kishtwar to register an FIR against the Personal Security Officer posted with a local BJP leader for thrashing a Junior Engineer of PWD (R&B) department Kishtwar while he was on duty.
As per the details available with “Early Times” one Abdul Gani Baksh of Joura Khurd Doda working as JE in R&B Department Kishtwar had filed an application in the court through his advocate Rajesh Sharma alleging that he was thrashed by the PSO of a BJP leader.
The complainant has stated that the accused, presently posted as PSO with BJP leader from Inderwal and his brother, a government teacher and another unknown brother of the PSO assaulted him and tore away his clothes while he was on its way to inspect a construction work at Higher Secondary School Benoon.
The complainant has stated that the accused blocked his way and beat him up. He further stated that after being assaulted, the blood started oozing out of his nose and the accused threatened to kill him. “Had some people not intervened the accused might have kill me,” the applicant has stated.
He has said that he even approached Kishtwar police and also filed a departmental complaint against the accused , but Kishtwar police failed to initiate the action against the culprits.
After going through the details, CJM Kishtwar under section 156 (3) of Cr.Pc directed SHO Police Station Kishtwar to investigate the case and forwarded the complaint along with earlier departmental complaint dated 5-3-2018 to police for investigation.
