New Delhi, February 09: As has been reported by a National Daily, dialogue has been going on between both the allies of J&K state government. “Their tough talk and posturing on both sides is for the outside world but inside the story is somewhat opposite,” said a top source inside BJP as quoted by the daily.
The BJP leader has claimed that the talks with the PDP were “very much on” and hopes are still alive that the saffron party may form government in the state.
“Both the parties may take some time to form a decision but we are hopeful of a solution by next month,” he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that the BJP leadership held during their meeting with the Governor of state, NN Vohra on 2nd of this month. Here they categorically said that BJP would “not succumb to PDP pressure” and will not allow any kind of deviation from the common minimum programme that was set by both the parties.
The source also said that for the sake of peace and development in the state, BJP wants the arrangement with PDP to stay intact Also, the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and the RSS leadership also want the alliance to continue in the state, as has been the word since the recent meeting between the state BJP leaders and RSS higher ups.
