While lambasting at VC for not thinking beyond the routine work, the CM said, “It is not the job of the state government every time to open an institute and support it financially. I have told you earlier also to open such an institute in the Doda region, where the government is harnessing huge hydroelectric potential.”

Mufti appreciated  Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, and the Islamic university of Science and Technology, Awantipora for achieving the status of being financially independent. He also gave an example of the efforts being made by Imran Raza Ansari, Minister for Technical Education in his endeavors to introduce new courses in the ITIs across the Kashmir valley, where several candidates enrolled for automobile engineering. “Many candidates have become self-reliant after their skills were harnessed,” he said.
