CM in Delhi; Big political shuffle to take place soon

Jammu, August 31: PDP has once again found pushing accomodation of one of its MPs as minister in the Centre. Chief Minister of the state Mufti Mohammad Syed’s visiting capital frequently is providing air to the speculations that PDP and BJP are moving on strong in the alliance. CM Syed is in Delhi for the last two days and is expected to arrive in Jammu on Monday in the state plane.

According to reports in Early Times News, the message of both coalition partners of state government has gone too well, far and wide that no external force and opposition criticism on various issues can affect their alliance and both partners will complete full term of the government with success with the help of mutual understanding. Although both the parties have vertical differences on certain matters but that will not leave its negative consequences on the government working together.

As per the sources, things are gearing up fast for the change of guard in the state with conjecture that the president of PDP Mehbooba Mufti who is also a Member of parliament and speculated as next bearer for the chair of Chief Minister. Chief Minister’s visit to New Delhi is being seen as crucial in that direction and BJP who is in power at the centre have conveyed ‘no objection’ and said that it is internal matter of the party discretion of the high command to decide who should be in the chair.

However, the leaders of PDP want to have everything in order at internal level before going ahead with such a big decision and hence they have demanded the move of  one senior leader in the Union ministry.  While this was in consideration earlier when alliance government came into being early this year, but it was later shelved for some political reasons by the party high command, said the sources. Now that the things are doing rounds with speed and some authenticity that Mehbooba Mufti may take over the reins of the state herself, this political bargain with the ally in power at centre is also gaining momentum.
