Jammu, January 19: The night temperatures across the Kashmir Valley on Tuesday continued to be several notches below the freezing point, the Met Office said.
However, the minimum temperatures improved in the Jammu region. “The minimum temperature in Jammu city was 6.2 degrees on Tuesday and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 18 to 19 degress Celsius.”

“Katra town recorded a minimum temperature of 6.3 degrees while Batote had 2.5, Bannihal minus 0.1, Bhaderwah minus 0.4 and the mercury settled at 4.3 degrees in Udhampur town,” a Met official told Media Sources.
