Congress leaders from Jammu and Kashmir met the AK Antony panel assessing the party’s debacle in the recently concluded General Election and said issues around the National Conference-Congress alliance cost the party dear in the state.
The Congress leaders asserted that they should go it alone in the Assembly elections and project a Jammu leader as its Chief Ministerial candidate. The Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in November-December this year.
