Cousins working as labourers die in Srinagar slab collapse

Srinagar: Two cousins working as labourers died in Kashmir capital Srinagar due to a slab collapse on Tuesday, police said.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Majeed Sheikh, 50 and Farooq Ahmad Sheikh, 45 – both residents of Housing Colony Bemina.

An official said that the cousins died on the spot after a concrete slab of an under-construction godown of a mosque collapsed in Zaldagar area of the downtown Srinagar.
