SRINAGAR, March 4: A CRPF passenger vehicle today turned turtle after it met with an accident following massive stone-pelting by the locals.
The picture shows an army vehicle reportedly overturned by Kashmiri locals. This occurrence follows in the ilk of what has been observed as causing disruptions in the operations carried out by the Indian Army in the valley. Reportedly, the army personnels had to face heavy stone pelting when their vehicle was patrolling. The mob pushed the vehicle which tipped it off its four wheels.

In previous incidents, mob has pelted stones on Army during encounters which helped militants escape from the site. This incident has come to surface despite General Bipin Rawat’s warning against civilians preventing the army from carrying out anti-terror operations or posing obstructions. He had said, “We would now tell the local population that people who have picked up arms, and they are the local boys, if they want to continue with the acts of terrorism, displaying flags of ISIS and Pakistan, then we will treat them as anti-national elements and go for them. They may survive today but we will get them tomorrow. Our relentless operations will continue.”
