CSNGEU hails Govt for releasing 6% DA; Calls on Drabu; Seeks enhancement of Move TA, Medical Allowance



SRINAGAR, AUGUST 20: The Jammu and Kashmir Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees Union (CSNGEU) today called on the Minister for Finance, Labour, Employment & Culture, Dr Haseeb A Drabu and hailed the recent initiative of the Government for ordering release of 6% DA in favour of the employees.

CSNGEU was led by its President Ghulam Rasool Mir, Vice President Suresh Bedi and other office-bearers.

The Union also projected various demands which include Career Progression of the employees, enhancement in Durbar Move TA & medical allowance, reduction of qualifying service from 28 years to 20 years and removing pay anomalies of various cadres.

The Union also hailed the initiative of the government of releasing 23% DA within short span of 6 months and hoped the other issues related to the employees would also be solved in time bound manner.

While interacting with Union, Dr Drabu said the Government is committed to address various issues being faced by the employees and same would be redressed in a time-bound manner, so that they get the requisite benefits and also put in their bit in ensuring that the government deliverance is enhanced by which the people at grassroots level would get benefited.
