Dahlia garden soon to be the next tourist hub in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, May 19: Much to the delight of the tourists in the Kashmir Valley, the state’s department of floriculture is now constructing its first Dahlia garden in Srinagar.

The tourists visiting Kashmir are always on the lookout for natural ambiences and the gardens here have always been an attraction point for them. Now the upcoming Dahlia garden will soon be their new site for admiration.

Much to the delight of the tourists in the Kashmir valley, the state’s department of floriculture is now constructing its first Dahlia garden in Srinagar.

The tourists visiting Kashmir are always on the lookout for natural ambiences and the gardens here have always been an attraction point for them.
Now the upcoming Dahlia garden will soon be their new site for admiration.

“Kashmir is known as ‘paradise on earth’. This garden will add to its charm,” a local resident Mushtaq Ahmad told ANI.

“We really appreciate the floriculture department for constructing the Dahlia garden. This will be an attraction point for the tourists as well as provide employment opportunities to the locals,” said Abdul Rasheed, a worker of the garden.

Presently, a number of workers and gardeners are on job that are sowing thousands of flowers with proper techniques aimed to complete the Dahlia garden propjet at proper time.

For the last few years, the floriculture department is always engaged in doing different activities and working hard to maintain the beauty of gardens in the valley and simultaneously also enhancing the revenue possibilities in the state.
