Srinagar, Feb 9: The actress Zaira Wasim who rose to fame with “Dangal” was recently all over the news when she took to social media to post an apology. And now, the Kashmiri actress has opened her heart out to speak about her teenage life in her native place.
The 16 year-old actress says that growing up in Kashmir was slightly different as she wasn’t allowed to go out much. She went on to say that she always remained in zone and didn’t even see a huge hill next to her house.
When asked how was it growing up in Kashmir, Zaira said, “I was always in my own zone. I think my life was a little different from how the life of a 16-year-old person should be. I never went out much.
The Kashmir-set book published by Penguin, is the debut novel of Zuni, 15, daughter of filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra and film critic Anupama Chopra.
