SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand said a three-tier security has been put in place to ensure hassle-free re-opening of the Civil Secretariat here.
He said vehicular movement on all major roads heading towards the Secretariat has been diverted.
J&K’s Director General of Police (DGP), K Rajendra Kumar, held a meeting to review security arrangements for re-opening of Civil Secretariat.
The government will function in the winter capital till late April and then move to Kashmir in the first week of May.
Meanwhile, this will be the last guard of honour for the present government which is completing its term on January 19, 2015.
