Day before his death, Sameer Tiger had left a Video message for Army Major Shukla

A viral video showing an alleged Army informer interrogated by Hizbul Mujahideen rebel Sameer Ahmad Bhat alias Sameer Tiger, who was killed today at Drabgam village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district along with another rebel Aqib Khan, had sent a message Army Major ohit Shukla through the ‘informer’: “Tell Shukla, let’s fight it out!” if Shukla has guts then he should come face to face with us.”

The encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Drabgam village is said to have been led by Major Shukla.

An Army Major of 44 RR (21 Rajput), Rohit Shukla had made good spy network to chase and hunt down Sameer Tiger. Earlier, Tiger had managed to break many cordons during encounters in south Kashmir.

Shukla was injured during the gunfight and was airlifted to 92 base military hospital Badami Bagh where his condition is believed to be critical. He has a gunshot wound on his right arm.

In the video, that went viral today morning, Tiger, 20, asks the ‘Army informer’ to divulge the names of those who spy on him on Shukla’s directions.

Bhat, on whom there was a bounty of Rs ten lakh, is said to have played a major role in the escape of Pakistani terrorist Naveed Jatt from a Srinagar hospital in February 2018.

“The last time he was arrested was on 3 April 2016 by the Indian Army at his home and transferred to police custody (Rajpora Police Station in Pulwama), then again handed over to Kakapora Police Station in Pulwama. He went underground for a brief period and his detentions were carried out without any procedure,” a report published by Firstpost said.
