DC Budgam reviews implementation of various state, centrally sponsored schemes

BUDGAM: The District Development Commissioner Budgam took a review meeting regarding Capex Budget (2015-16), and other State and Centrally Sponsored schemes, DDB decisions and commitments made by the Chief Minister.

During the meeting it was informed that against the total allocation of Rs 168.02 crore for the year 2015-16 under Capex Budget (2015-16), an amount of Rs 24.04 crore has been made available to the district against which 70.04% expenditure has been made till August 2015.

During the meeting it was informed that  the achievements made under  key sectors  are 91.85  kms of road length  macadamized/Semi Dense  till August 2015 against the target  of 189 Kms  proposed for the CFY under R&B Sector (NABARD/Towns and cities) Rs 11.40 crore has been spent under MGNREGA, Out of 1950 taken up  works,  1003 works completed,   Job cards  issued to 57061 households. Rs 578.39 lakh have been spent under National Health Mission. Under Elementary/Secondary education an amount of Rs 167.33 lakh have been spent till August 2015 and 15 works of school buildings/ fencings have been completed.

The District Development Commissioner stressed the Officers to accelerate the pace of work so that the targets fixed for the current financial year are achieved in full and also implement the DDB decisions of District Budgam in letter and spirit. He also requested the Officers for making donation towards District Red cross for needy people.

The meeting was attended by all sectoral officers of the district.
