DODA, JULY 14-Deputy Commissioner Doda, Bhupinder Kumar today in the wee hours rushed to Manoie near Malikpura bridge Bhatyas, Gandoh, the site of yesterday’s tragic accident in which two persons are feared dead and personally supervised the rescue operations which are carried out jointly by Army, Police and locals to trace out the missing occupants of the Van, which yesterday plunged into 100 feet deep george when the driver lost his control over the vehicle.
DC directed the concerned agencies to leave no stone unturned to trace the victims of the fateful accident . He also inspected the road from Thatri to Jakyas and expressing concern over the deplorable condition of roads at many places, instructed the concerned XEns to ensure proper maintenance of roads so that such tragic accidents are prevented in future.
People of area also interacted with the DDC and demanded timely and full restoration of the roads connecting the district headquarter besides they demanded adequate supply of essential commodities to people during Id-ul-fitur .DDC gave patient hearing to the problems projected and redressed them by giving onspot directions to the concerned officers for their redressal.
