In a meeting with officers of Revenue, Treasuries and Banks in the district, the Deputy Commissioner directed that relief amount be immediately directly into the bank accounts of victims of 2014 floods. Rs. 20.7960 Crore will be credited into the bank accounts of 6055 families in the district, whose residential houses were damaged during the 2014 floods.
For fully damaged Pucca houses, an amount of Rs. 2.5 lakh will be disbursed directly into the Bank account of each victim while as for fully damaged Kaccha houses, Rs. 1 lakh will be provided to each victim. For severely damaged Pucca houses, Rs. 1.25 lakh will be given to each victim.
