DC pays surprise visit to Govt. offices, seeks explanation from absentee employees

KATHUA, MAY 29: To check the punctuality in the offices, District Development Commissioner Kathua Ajay Singh Jamwal paid surprise visit to various offices in DC Office Complex today.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Atul Gupta, Chief Planning Officer, Ram Rattan, AD Planning Babu Ram accompanied the DDC during the inspection.
During the inspection, the DC found some officers and officials absent from duties without proper leave or permission besides movement registers were also not properly maintained.
Taking serious note of this, the DC issued notice to the absentees to explain their position. While warning the officers/officials, the DC said that strict action will be taken against the erring employees. He passed strict directions to the officers for maintaining punctuality and movement registers in their respective offices. He directed the district heads to be on time and adhere to the office timings strictly so that general public do not face any inconvenience.
During the inspection, the DC also checked the cleanliness in and around office premises and passed instructions to the officers for keeping the offices neat and clean. Assistant Commissioner (Development) Kathua Sunil Sharma was nominated as Nodal Officer for checking cleanliness of the offices in the DC Office Complex.
