DDC flagged off Hajjis from Doda

DODA: District Development Commissioner Doda Mr. Shyam Vinod Meena today flagged off 46 Hajjis from Doda comprising of 28 male and 18 female Hajj pilgrims.
Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Mr. M. S Chouhan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Doda Mr. Imam Din, Tehsildar Gandoh Mr. Joni Kumar, besides Superintendent District Hospital Doda among other officers were present on the occasion.
46 Hajjis from the District including 18 from Doda Tehsil, 16 from Bhaderwah and 12 from Gandoh proceeded for the holy pilgrimage in three JKSRTC Buses.
While speaking on the occasion DDC Doda congratulated the Hajjis for pious journey and prayed for their safe and secure pilgrimage. He enjoined upon the pilgrims to pray for the peace harmony and development of the district.
SSP Doda Mr. M.S Chouhan also spoke on the occasion and extended his good wishes to the hajjis.

DC Poonch flags off first batch of hajj pilgrims
POONCH, SEPTEMBER 01: The Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Mr. M H Malik this morning send off the first batch of 41 pilgrims from district Poonch for Hajj-2014. The Deputy Commissioner while interacting with pilgrims congratulated them and requested them to pray for the peace and development of the nation and state. He also wished them success and smooth performance of Manasik-e-Hajj. The second and the last batch of Hajj pilgrims from district will be leaving for Srinagar on Tuesday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mumtaz Ali Chowdhary, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shafiq Ahmed Choudhary, Tehsildar, Haveli, Auqil Nuvaid also congratulated them and asked them to pray for the peace and prosperity of the nation.
