He was accompanied by Joint Director Information, Jammu, Namrita Dogra, senior functionaries of Hospitality and Protocol, Education, Police, Security, R&B, PHE, PDD and other concerned departments. During his visit, the ADC took stock of the face lifting of the main venue, seating arrangements, power supply, drinking water facility, installation of PAS, barricading of venue, sanitation measures and other necessary arrangements. The ADC directed the concerned agency for adequate deployment to ensure foolproof security arrangements at the venue and the surrounding areas. The ADC was also briefed about the identified parking spots for the national function. Director Horticulture visits Samba inspects Fruit Plant Nurseries


JAMMU AUGUST 01:Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak conducted an extensive tour of twin districts Jammu and Samba where he inspected Fruit Plant Nursery Maralian, Jammu and Fruit Plant Nursery, Vijaypur besides also inspected other field extension activities .

During the inspection, the Director was apprised about the progress being made in various developmental activities in the nurseries as well as in the field.

The Director asked the concerned officers/officials to work with zeal and dedication and left no stone unturned to keep the nursery area neat and clean besides achieving the targets of grafting fruit plants and producing root stock in time.

The Director also kick started the plantation drive by planting the fruit plant in the field of Darshan Lal R/o Thalodi , Vijaypur who shall cover an area of 1 ha under normal spacing plantation under MIDH scheme and 0.5 Ha area under high density plantation under CAPEX scheme by planting Mango, citrus and Guava plants.

Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu S, Saravjeet Singh , Chief Horticulture Officer Samba, Anil Gorka, District Horticulture Officer Jammu, Vijay Angurana, DLSMS Samb,Ashhwani Sharma and HDO concerned accompanied the Director during the tour.
