Doctor in Bishnah admitted in critical condition, swine flu suspected

 

JAMMU: A senior doctor posted at a government hospital in Bishnah Tehsil in Samba district was today admitted in Government Medical college hospital in a critical condition for what is suspected to be a case of swine flu related infection.

“It seems to be a case of swine flu. Dr Baljeet Singh, a doctor at a hospital in Bishnah, was today shifted to our hospital in a critical condition,” Dr R R Paul medical superintendent GMC Jammu told JLN.

He said that the condition of the doctor was “not stable”.

“There are 22 suspected swine flu patients admitted in our hospital but their culture report is still awaited,” he said.
