Srinagar, August 1: Scores of doctors and para-medical staff at SKIMS JVC Bemina took out a protest march from the hospital premises on Monday.
Raising pro-freedom slogans, the doctors condemned the civilian killings.
Eye witnesses said that doctors marched out of the hospital premises and held protest demonstration on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway at Bemina.
The doctors were holding placards reading: ‘We want freedom, stop the bloodshed, stop human rights violations”.
Reports said that as the protest demonstration continued on the highway, police and CRPF vehicles reached the spot.
The doctors and para-medics peacefully dispersed off and resumed their duties.
