Jammu, December 23: 21 years old boy of Doda, Muhammad Usman Gattu who died on Sunday was seen posting status updates on social networking site Facebook like “waiting for death”, “user died” etc about a month ago. This may have been a prank to seek attention of his friends but unfortunately it turned out true for this youth.

Muhammad Usman died instantly on Sunday while his motor bike skidded off the Bhaderwah-Doda road near Dranga village. The boy was the resident of Doda and he was going back home from Bhaderwah which he visited a day before to attend a function.

The reports says that the roads had become slippery due to snow because of which his bike lost control and feel into a deep gorge and he died on the spot.

Usman was the only hope for family as his elder brother had died a few years ago of cardiac arrest in New Delhi. His death has come as a big jolt to the family.

But what has shaken everybody in his friend circle and family are the updates on his facebook page. On on November 19, Usman had posted a picture on Facebook, reading “waiting for death”. On Nov 21, he again posted a picture, “user died”. When one of his friends asked him the reason for posting such pictures, Usman had replied: “Because of my boring life.”

However, his friends have said that Usman was a happy person and lived wholeheartedly.

Meanwhile, MLA Kishtwar, Firdous Tak who was also friends with Usman on Facebook has expressed grief and shock on his death. He posted a status update saying that he is shocked to know about the death of a promising young man and a FB friend Usman Gattu in a road mishap. More shocking were some of his recent posts. Moula bless his soul with highest place in Jannah.
