Dhanidar Premier Cricket League semi final was played at District Police Line, Rajouri , today . People in large number witnessed the semi finals and during the match they supported the home team i.e. Rajouri Royals with lot of enthusiasm displayingbanner and flags. In the first semifinals, despite the strong support of the spectators, Rajouri Royals were defeated by Doda Daredevil by 49 runs. In the second semifinal, Kishtwar Killers defeated Mighty Mughals by 03 Wickets. The final match will now be played between Doda Daredevils who are riding big on their batting strength and Kishtwar Killers whose forte is tight bowling and exemplary fielding. The stage is now set for an exciting clash for the title.
The tournament has generated immense interest in the local population so far and the final match is likely to be witness by a large number of spectators. Both the teams are excited to be in finals and working on their strategies for the match as evident from what Doda Daredevils player Khakan Rather said i.e. “We’ll have to contain opposite batsmen and we have a strategy in place”.
