Lays foundation stone for Auditorium complex at Mini Secretariat Reasi

REASI, SEPTEMBER 21:- Minister for Co-operatives, Chering Dorjay who is also the Chairman of District Development Board (DDB) Reasi convened a meeting to review of the pace of developmental projects being executed in Reasi here today .
Ajaz Ahmed Khan-MLA Gool Arnas, Mumtaz Ahmad Khan-MLA Gulabgarh, Ajay Nanda MLA Reasi, Jugal Kishore & Sham Lal Bhagat MLCs, Sushma Chauhan, District Development Commissioner, Reasi and other senior officers attended the meeting.
DDC Reasi apprised the Minister that against the available funds of Rs. 39 crores CAPEX Budget 2015-16, 47 % of funds have been utilized upto August-2015 for various developmental activities.DDC informed that under SSA 100 new School buildings and 477 additional Class Rooms will be completed in the district and 17 High School buildings will be completed under RMSA during the current financial year. Convergence Plan of Rs. 12.00 Crores with MGNREGA is also being implemented in the district by the concerned departments.
The Minister asked the district administration to ensure proper utilization of allocated funds and ensure completion of the on-going projects well in time. He stressed on proper monitoring of the projects to ensure quality works and adherence to the timelines . He underscored the need for paying focused attention to the improvement of road connectivity, drinking water, power supply, education and healthcare facilities equally across the district.
Dorjay also stressed on optimal utilization of funds under the centrally sponsored schemes and the flagship programmes.
It was further given out in the meeting that about 11 Water Supply Schemes of PHE Department will be completed during the current financial year 2015-16 which will cover 24 habitations. DDC informed that apart from 12 PMGSY roads and 2 bridges to be completed during current financial year 70% work on the upgradation of Domail to Katra road is completed so far.
