Double blow to Indian Hockey; Women’s hockey coach quits



Women hockey coach Neil Hawgood is making headlines.  After Mr. Terry Walsh’s exit from Indian men hockey’s team, women hockey coach Neil has resigned as coach and will not be renewing his contract, which expires on December 31, 2014. It is believed   is set to become chief coach of the Malaysian men’s team. The development comes as a double blow for Indian hockey, with both the men’s and women’s teams left in the lurch. While Walsh quit days before the Champions Trophy at home next month. Said Hawgood from Bhopal, “The groundwork we have done with this team has been extensive.
