Dr Jitendra announces Radio Station, Skill Institute, Modern Auditorium for Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: Announcing a series of new landmark projects for Udhampur, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh today declared the setting up of an Akashwani Radio Station over one acre of land in the heart of city for which there had been a demand for the last 60 years, a Skill Development Institute at Battar Ballia Panchayat in the immediate vicinity of city, a State-of-the-art Auditorium at the cost of Rs 10 crores and 8 overhead bridges to be constructed within the city to reduce congestion.

For Ramnagar, Dr Jitendra Singh announced setting up of a Degree College at Majalta for which the State Government had agreed to send a proposal which would be further pursued at the Union HRD Ministry. A community shed in Ramnagar town has already been sanctioned from the MPLAD fund, he informed.
