Dy CM condemns Gurdaspur incident

SRINAGAR, JULY 27: Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh has condemned the Gurdaspur incident in which several people were killed today.
In a statement, the Deputy Chief Minister while condemning the incident said that these incidents are the hanidwork of elements trying to create disturbances in the country. He said that we should condemn such acts as are being carried out by the forces inimical to peace and tranquility and are aimed at creating an atmosphere of fear in the country.
Dr. Singh said that these forces would be strictly dealt with so that occurrence of these violent incidents does not take place in future.
He appealed people of the State to maintain their centuries old brotherhood and amity.
