Jammu, July 6: Syama Prasad Mukherjee alternatively spelt as Syama Prasad Mookerjee was born on the 6 July 1901 and was an Indian politician, barrister and academician, who served as Minister for Industry and Supply in Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s cabinet. After falling out with Nehru, Mukherjee quit the Indian National Congress and founded the nationalist Bharatiya Jana Sangh (which would later evolve into BJP) in 1951.
Dr. Nirmal Singh along with BJP MP Jugal Kishore Sharma offered his respects to Syama Prasad Mukherjee at the statue installation ceremony of the Jana Sangh Founder near the new building of BJP office at Trikuta Nagar. Other Senior BJP leaders were also present on the occassion.
Dr. Singh told U4UVoice that anti-peace forces, whether they are within the country or outside, do not want the peace process through dialogue to happen. After unprovoked firing last night our government will take up the issue with Pakistan.
