Nearly 3500 Kashmiri Pandit voters will exercise their franchise through ballot papers in the first phase of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls tomorrow.
Five Assembly segments in the valley are going to polls today along with nine other constituencies of Jammu and Ladakh regions.
According to the data of state elections department, 3441 KAshmiri Pandits are registered voters for the polling out of five assembly segments of Bandipora and Ganderbal districts of the valley.
Of the total count,more than 1500 Kashmiri Pandit voters are registered in two assembly segments of Bandipora district and more than 1800 in two segments in Ganderbal district. The data revealed that more than 1300 Kashmiri Pandits have been registered in Bandipura followed by 203 in Sonawari and 852 in Kangan. Nearly 1000 voters are in Ganderbal constituency and there are none registered in Gurez constituency of Bandipora district, it said.
