Srinagar, May 11: GoAir a Mumbai based airline carrier is going to start an evening service in Srinagar-Delhi sector from June 15, 2016.
The airline G8 229 will take off from Delhi at 4:50 pm and arrive in Srinagar at 6:10 pm also the flight G8 228 will take off from Srinagar at 6:40 pm and land in Delhi at 8:05 pm.
This will also be GoAir’s 6th daily non-stop service between Srinagar and Delhi.
Notably, the Airports Authority of India and the Indian Air Force have given green signals on the expansion of Srinagar International Airport.
The airport will be upgraded its facilities so that the runway area facilitates the operation of additional flights and night landings.
The Srinagar Airport covers a 16700 sq mt area.
IAF also controls the air traffic of Srinagar Airport and also the facilities of fire-fighting and crash activities.
