Jammu Marc 17: Maharaja Hari Singh Park on the bank of River Tawi was thrown open yesterday by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. The main features and the attractions of the park are aesthetically laid walking tracks, swings for children, ornamental sheds, benches, dustbins, open-air gym besides beautifully laid flower rose garden, Coffee House, beautiful solar lights and a refurbished library within the park premises. The biggest attraction of this park is the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh.
It was built in around one year. Meet the man behind the making of this statue of the Maharaja. His name is Ravinder Jamwal, a sculptor and an artist. He is known for his artwork and his exhibitions across India and abroad.
