National conference is in full gear to woo voters in Kashmir after the attention shifted to valley with polling over in Jammu. Dr Farooq Abdullah is making all the statements, and using his skills to grab the attention of voters.
Be it taking loud about Tosamaidan lease revocation or dancing at Budgam – Abdullah is going full out to woo the masses in Kashmir. As per the people who attend his rallies Dr Farooq is in full swing these days. “He keeps the attention of people by speeches, and entertainment skills,” says a person.
People believe that all this is done so that people vote for him in the coming election. “They know that they didn’t come up with any good thing for people in all these years and now they are resorting to theatrics,” says Ghulam Nabi, a resident of Srinagar.
NC is also making huge statements these day which people believe is a tactic to win resentful hearts.
People say that NC couldn’t revoke Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) in six years of their term and when they promise to remove it in their next term how can one believe them.
“When they couldn’t do it then how can we expect that they will do any better now,” says Ayub Ahmad, another resident.
It is said that mud racking is an agenda of politicians these days which is done in best of the manner – after seeking votes.
“Go to any rally and be prepared for being a witness to the blame games. PDP blames NC and vice versa,” Ahmad adds.
