Jammu:Vice Chancellor of Jammu University said that fee payments by students should be done through online mode in the online department.
For this, POS machines should be set up in the departments, in which students can deposit fees by using credit / debit card. Pro. Dhar held a meeting with Dean / Rector / Director / HOD on Wednesday and issued guidelines for transparency and improvement in academic arrangements.
He said that many big decisions have been taken in the Golden Jubilee year of the University. In this, the academic system has been made transparent. He asked the departmental chairmen to make them aware about the related courses for the students. He asked Dean Student Welfare to set up a Help Desk, in which students’ doubts could be overcome.
He said that all efforts should be made to improve the enrollment process. For this, the Departmental President should take necessary steps. Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Keshav Sharma asked the departmental chairmen to fully implement the admission policy. He said that the application of self financial seats of students not following the norms will not be considered.
Convenor Committee Assessment Pro. Naresh Padha highlighted the activities of Jammu University with other academic achievements. Assistant Registrar (AA) Dr Rano Bhai presented a vote of thanks. HOD of different departments are present in the meeting.
