You might have noticed that milkmen usually adulterate the milk using water, urea or by giving drugs to the cows and buffaloes. But now the people associated with this industry have come up with an innovative idea to increase the milk yielding capacity of the cattle by feeding them with beer waste. The contractors in the business have confirmed that beer waste provides a better yield by 4-5 litres.
The news was received from the Lucknow region wherein 50% of the cattle is given leftover of breweries thereby increasing the milk productivity. But the important question which arises out of this is that whether substituting their usual feed with the beer waste is useful or harmful for them?
