According to reports in a local daily, the lady officer was subjected to harassment by one Vinay Shan of Cherji who has the facebook ID with username Vinay Shan Tanha. He posted abusive comments on the wall of lady officer because of a dispute going on between both over an allege transfer of a Chowkidar Jaswant Wazir from Cherji area of Nagsini in Kishtwar District.

The man was of the view that the officer has forced the watchman to register  an FIR against the local people for spreading false propaganda against her and also levied corruption charges against her for the transfer of an employee who does not exist in official record of the department.

A while after the post was updated on Facebook, many people copied and pasted it on their walls too. It was also circulated on whatsapp groups by them with an aim to harass the female employee.
