SRINAGAR: The Minister of State for science and technology and School Education, Mr. Feroz Ahmed Khan reviewed the implementation of RMSA interventions in districts Leh and Kargil at an officers meeting held here today.
The meeting was attended by State Project Director RMSA, Joint Director Planning, School Education Department, Chief Education Officer, Leh and Kargil and State Coordinator, RMSA.
A power point presentation was given by the project director, RMSA depicting the achievements of booked in education sector.
While reviewing civil works, the Minister expressed his displeasure over slow progress of civil works started in district Kargil. The Minister stressed on in time completion of the school building and directed concerned Chief Education Officers to maintain close liaison with concerned SE’s and involve DDC’s to resolve local issues,
The Minister asked the officers and officials of Education Department of district Leh and Kargil to organize workshops at Leh and Kargil on U-DISE. He asked Chief Education officers of both the districts to undertake student’s study tour to Kashmir valley while State institute of Education, Kashmir shall organize training programme at the district head quarters for training subject specific teachers.
The meeting was informed that 07 schools, out of 12 high, have been completed in Kargil while in district Leh 3 school builds , out of 08 have been completed so far.
