Srinagar, February 08: The Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) is going to hold its first youth conference in the Valley with a view to engage the young and talented minds of Kashmir in debate and dialogue.
As per a local daily, the three-day long conference is going to be a first of its kind and is scheduled to take place from March 11 to 13. It will give a platform to the students from across the country to come together and discuss over the problems of the world and find resolution that will be submitted to the United Nations.
The Director General of IIMUN Srinagar, Shamal Doshi said that the students will debate over the international and the local problems as well and their resolution will be submitted to the UN. Such conferences have been held all across the India but it is going to be a first of its kind event in Srinagar.
He further said that more than 300 students are going to participate in the conference to discuss important issues. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, NN Vohra is going to inaugurate the event at Green Valley Education Institute in old Srinagar.
