Srinagar, 15 April: At least five people were injured on Friday when security forces allegedly opened fire on an angry mob protesting the deaths of four civilians in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, police said.
Reports have come in saying that one of the five injured has succumbed to his injuries according to a local source. 18-year-old Arif Hussain Dar resident of Awura village, has succumbed to his injuries that he received when army allegedly opened fire on protesters in Natusa area of Baramullah district this afternoon.
Hospital sources confirmed that 18-year-old Arif Hussain Dar, son of Ghulam Mohi-u-din Dar, resident of Awura village, died after succumbing to his injuries.
Dar was wounded along with three other civilians in army firing on protesters in Natnusa village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
