While announcing his maiden Budget Sunday in JK Assembly, Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu said that girls will get Rs 1000 per month from their birth till 14 years of their age from state government.
While appreciating the employee patience, Dr Haseeb Drabu Sunday during his maiden Budget in JK Assembly as Finance Minister announced the release of 17 percent DA to state employees.
Two installments of Dearness Allowance (DA) due from January, 2014 amounting to 17% could not be paid to State Government Employees/Pensioners so far due to financial difficulties faced by the Government in the aftermath of floods in the state.
The State Government Employees/Pensioners need to be appreciated for the patience shown in this regard. A budgetary provision of ₹ 2200 crore has been kept during the next year. DA pending March 31, 2015 shall be credited into the G.P. Fund account of the employees while DA will be paid in cash from April onwards. All employees covered under the National Pension Scheme (NPS) and pensioners will, however, receive the arrears in cash.
